For Amber, great property management comes down to something pretty simple – communication, care and making sure people know they’re being looked after.With two years in the property industry and a background built around customer service, Amber has a natural ability to connect with people.
She particularly loves the moments when a great match comes together – telling a renter they’ve been approved for a home they loved, while knowing the property investor is equally happy to have found a great tenant. For Amber, creating an outcome where everyone feels good is one of the most rewarding parts of the job.
Her golden rule is to communicate, even when there isn’t much to report. Whether it’s a maintenance request, lease renewal or something taking a little longer than expected, Amber believes a quick update can make all the difference. It’s about making sure clients never feel forgotten and always know someone is looking after them.
She’s also big on the small things. Amber makes an effort to remember the details people share in everyday conversations – the holiday they were about to take, how their kids are going or something happening in their lives. She believes strong client relationships aren’t built through transactions alone, but by genuinely caring about the people you’re working with.
Having worked in customer service roles since she was 14, property management felt like a natural next step. Before entering the industry, Amber worked in a government call centre, spending her days helping people navigate forms and processes – experience that strengthened both her patience and ability to make complicated things feel a little easier.
Born and raised in Canberra, Amber grew up in Tuggeranong and has lived in many different pockets of the area, giving her a genuine connection to the community she now works in.
Outside of work, you’ll find her walking Mount Taylor, doing Pilates or spending time with family and friends. Her ideal weekend is a busy Saturday followed by a very quiet Sunday. She’s considering Perth for her next adventure, while making pasta in Italy is firmly on the bucket list. And although her childhood dream of becoming a pop star didn’t quite work out, she enjoys going to karaoke with friends to keep the dream alive and enjoy a good song-along.
